Individual psychotherapeutic counselling provides a confidential, structured, and professionally supportive environment in which patients can explore emotional and psychological concerns arising from cancer and its treatment. Interventions may address anxiety, depressive symptoms, grief, fear of recurrence, treatment-related distress, altered self-perception, relationship difficulties, and adjustment to major life changes. Therapy is tailored to the patient's psychological needs and therapeutic goals. The process facilitates emotional processing, adaptive coping, psychological insight, and improved functioning throughout the cancer trajectory.
