Changes resulting from cancer and its treatment may significantly affect body image, self-esteem, self-concept, and personal identity. This may be particularly relevant following mastectomy, amputation, colostomy, extensive surgery, scarring, hair loss, or significant changes in weight and physical functioning. Therapeutic intervention helps patients explore altered perceptions of their bodies and develop a more integrated sense of identity. The emphasis is on self-acceptance, dignity, psychological adjustment, and recognition of personal worth beyond physical appearance.

Yes, 100% of our sessions adhere to strict clinical confidentiality and can be attended via private 1-on-1 video call or in-person clinic visit.

How many sessions are typically recommended?
Care is customised to individual progress. Many clients begin with an initial evaluation and utilise our multi-session packages (2 or 3 sessions) for structured, ongoing progress.
